Afternoon Picnic
Rain caressed magnolia leaves
Tiny frog hops away.
You smile at me lovingly.
Grinning, we walk hand in hand.

He was *teensy*! No bigger than my thumbnail. When I first saw him, I thought he was a beetle rather than a frog.

I wonder what kind of little frog. Was it a 'he'? *grin* One of our friends recently wrote a book about frogs and other amphibians in Montana. It might have been a little tree frog?

I don't know whether he was he or she... (And yes, I knew you'd call me on that after the bee thing.) Tiny tiny tiny little brown frog, on a brick pathway. He ended up hopping onto a wood staircase and being pretty perfectly hidden, which I took as my cue to go away already.
