Autumn inspiration

I've no idea how inspiration managed to find me to strike. Lately, I hardly know where to find me.

Grey skies
A flash of red falling leaf
lights the afternoon

Icy rain
gilds flaming leaves,
black-silver branches

Soft pit-pat
Full round raindrops
on fallen leaves

Hoarse cries
Dancing black cloud of crows,
leaving winter behind

Green yellow leaves
whispering summer's goodbye
as autumn rains fall

A cup of tea
and a ripe, crisp apple.
Watching through glass doors
the maple tree shivering
through October winds

Venus, bright angel,
blessing the evening.

Black branches frame
blue grey mottled silk skies
Crows swoop past

Lovely writing! You have a poetic gift, the ability to paint a word picture. Keep at it.

Missed your insightful and beauty-filled haiku. I really love the last two but I can't choose....
