Just Plain Foolish

Just a chance for an old-fashioned, simple storyteller to say what needs to be said.

I'm still writing, though I don't have so much free time as I used to.

Leaves scuttle softly
along sunbaked sidewalks

Afternoon
barbeque on the deck.
Small toad hops away.

A bird of clouds,
gliding over the city,
red sun in her wings

Watching Jupiter
playing hide and go seek
between the clouds.
